THE MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC
Dez Whitfield has loved music since childhood, especially playing piano. The Chicago businessman and former football player never planned on becoming a singer. His first album began as a business-school project to launch a record label. One opportunity led to another, and somehow he found himself recording albums, playing shows, and going on tour.
Now he's home, hoping for good food, good friends, and a little peace and quiet. Unfortunately, his friends tend to have other plans.
Dez is a central character in NO HURRY HOME, an original world of friendship, family, relationships, and the wonderfully complicated lives of grown people.
